should i remove the air silencer?
my mom doesnt want me to because she said "its there for a reason"
shes afraid it will make it loud or somthing.

It makes the car a tad louder nothing you'll really notice unless you know the sound of your car. Just remove it, It's not like shes gonna look under your hood nor she would know what shes looking for.

you wont notice anything. but your filter might get dirty. just leave it. get a k&n if you want. it will make it so you dont have to replace it. you wont notice any power

Get the K&N FIPK. It DOES make power. I have had 3 types of intakes and I know what works.

 

LOL just like those sugar pills ey? Just keep the stock *** paper filter, and the silencer in, you wont notice a DAMN thing going to a K&N and prolly not much more from a full intake.

 

c'mon you dont know to convince your parents. tell her that it will make the car run better and do better mpg wise since the will breathe better. i should of read everything. leave your moms car alone.

 

I've tried that before for exhaust, and my parents said it would waste gas because it would make the engine work harder.
