Some people like it, but a lot of Mach owners went with Procharger. I was going to go with a Procharger, than I found I was getting a bonus, so that changed my plans. Now Im getting turbos. You might want to check with Kenne Bell as well. It'll be alot more fun to drive on the street. It'll have alot of torque down low, where you do most of your driving. The Vortech and Procharger build boost with your RPMs. So you'll have to spin them up to get full boost.

You should also register on www.mach1registry.com and ask your questions there. There are alot of knowledgable mach owners on there that know alot more than me.

Azure blue mach 1s imo are the best looking of any mustangs since the 60s. Too bad they didnt make them in verts or I would own one.

I tend to agree....however I pretty much love all of the mach colors except for DSG....which I have and Black....although I love swervo's. I should have got a white, comp orange or torch red mach! oh well.

This is what a vert would look like....this guy did an amazing clone job on his GT.

Did you already get the shifter? If not, MGW is the best shifter out there, but steeda is pretty good. Make sure you get a tune after you get the x-pipe and CAI in or you'll be in danger of running lean. I had that happen to me when I changed my intake and exhaust out. My AF ratio was way too lean. Something like 16:1. Had my tuner give me a safer tune. As for the x-pipe, it will connect right on the stock exhaust manifold.

Yes, make sure you get a tune. My A/F was crazy lean like Swervo's after adding a catback, mid pipe, and CAI.....the mach engine is very sensitive.

remeber, you have to get a dyno tune to get the af ratio right. Have your Tuner do it, because you might mess it up. I know I would have messed it up, if I did it. lol. Oh and the Mr thing...cant really tell when someone is kidding or actually serious on forums. lol. Oh yeah, what catback are you going with?

Modular Depot is now in North East Kentucky.

Around Indiana I would go to either Brenspeed or Modular Depot. There are some good shops outside Detroit too.

So your going to have those welded into your stock exhaust? Just to warn you, some people dont like x pipes with chambered mufflers. I hope you like the sound when your done. Me, personally, I like the sound of H-pipes. Gives it a bit more rumble and not as raspy and high pitched as x-pipes.

A dyno or dynamometer is a piece of equipment tuners use to help tune cars. They put your car on the dyno, hook it up to the computer, along with an af ratio meter. Then they run your car, usually in 4th gear from idle all the way to redline to see how much hp/tq you make throught out the rpm band. They also see where your af ratio is at, at a given rpm. They'll tune your car based off several runs on the dyno to give you a safe or extreme tune by changing the parameters of many different variables.
