What would you do?
Would you get a off-road x-pipe w/ Loudmouth II or an x-pipe w/ high flow cats with Loudmouth I? How loud would it be if i get a off-raod x-pipe with loud mouth I? Im just tryin to make my mind up before i order the exhaust!

there is no reason to delete the cats. It's not going to gain you mad power... in fact it'll probably = about 1hp with high flow cats over an off-road pipe. Aside from that, we all breathe the same air. I'd prefer it not contain unburned hydrocarbons and suspended particulate, which is largely eliminated by using cats.
I hate LM series cans myself... but if you like em, I'd start with the LM1.

Offroad xpipe and Loudmouth is so damn loud it is freakin annoying.
Personally i like to compare catless loudmouth exhaust to having blowhorns on yer exhaust. Garaunteed to **** off yer neighbors no matter how quiet you try to be, garauntee to attract every cop in the area. Sounds good, but christ the volume is overkill.
I say if you want volume just get a 3in xpipe with cats and get rid of the mufflers, sounds great that way.
Deep agressive sound at idle, Loud at higher RPM's but still pretty quiet at 1500-2000 rpms as to not wake the neighbors. When revving it is still more than loud enough to make the honda boys flinch.

And being in Cali I'm pretty sure neither of them would pass.

You should go with slp catted x and lm1, thats what i have, you'll love it. that setup gives you the ballsiest and loudest sound without being to over the top. without the cats it will just be too loud and you'll lose that nice tone. also you'll feel a power loss in the low rpm range. the great thing about slp is you can change your setup without buying a new midpipe or catback. just swap cats or resinators.

That's a good question. I called SLP when back when I was trying to figure out what exhaust I wanted. They wouldn't tell me the specific DB rating. It's been a while, but I remember the guy saying the LM1's probably exceed most state exhaust DB limits....whatever those are....I can't remember what he said about LM2's, but it they weren't as bad as LM1's.

Well, My car is going to get lowered next weekend, So what im going to do is buy the Loudmouth I, But im going to bolt it to the factory H-pipe and see how that sounds! Im gonna start their and see if want to get a new x-pipe or not!

Sounds like my case. A kid w/ a kraut kompactor got pulled over for having a modified exhaust (later on he wrecked it goin down this crazy hill in my town in snowy weather doing 60 since it has nice jumps). However, my car w/ Flowmaster 40's haven't gotten me pulled over yet, even when speeding and the cop sticking his radar gun at me.

Have you listened to sound clips of LM1's? I personally get a headache whenever I hear them, but just be careful because you will attract attention regardless of the mid-pipe.

I have had SLP loudmouth 1s with the stock midpipe and it sounded awesome but when i changed the midpipe to an off road x pipe and it was WAY too loud. I have now gone to an off road h pipe and mac catback and it sounds really good. My advice would be to get the loudmouth 1 but just bolt it together. if you decide you like it get the catback welded together except for the resonators, that way you can switch later if you like. then save up and get long tubes and a shorty mac off road prochamber to use with the long tubes. that setup with a pair of cams and a blower would be sick. good luck!
