Hey Guys,!! Im Symon!! ...so I Am 17 Yrs Old And I Drive A 2000 V6 Mustang , Kinda' High Mileage! So I Was Thinking To Save Money So I Can Swap But, I Dont Know If I Should By Another V6 And Bore It Out With Stage 2 Cams And Turbo Or Supercharge The V6 Or Buy A 48 Motor And Swap That In?! But In Order To Put A V8 You Need A New Ecu, Radiator, Motor Mounts And Etc. Etc. So Wouldnt It Be Cheaper To Turbo Or Superscharge V6 Motor?!?

SOOO SHOULD I STICK WITH A V6 MOTOR AND TURBO OR MAYBE SUPERCHARGE IT... OR... SHOULD I JUST SWAO OUT TO A V8 MOTOR?!?!? I HAVE A 2000 MUSTANG 3.8L AND AUTO "MY FIRST CAR".... SOO I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD SWAP OUT INTO A V8 OR JUST BUY A MOTOR WITH LESS MILES AND TURBO THAT ONE?!?!

I'd find a wrecked cobra or gt and just gut everything. Plus you'll have everything you need from it.

 

I got a 99 v6 mustang, I'm thinking the same thing. It would cost more money to drop in a v8, then putting in a blower or turbo on your car. I have to finish up my 331 on my 90 stang, before I do anything to the 99. If you do decide to put a power adder, go w/a turbo, you'll get more H.P. Check out www.v6power.net or www.3.8mustang.com. Guys over have w/turbo V6 have over 400 horses. Keep us posted w/what you do.

 

There was a point that i was in the same position that you are in. I made my choice and i havent looked back. The ONLY motor i would trade my v6 for would be a cobra. But honestly, it would cost me more money and i would have less HP then i do now!

geez! you practically stole that!! does anyone know of a TT kit for our cars? or even a turbo kit at all for'em? i've only seen superchargers...or is all the turbo stuff custom made? (mine is 03v6)
