4 piston brembos from the cobra R are badass brakes but you need 17x9 or 18x9 Cobra R rims or 18x9 fr500s. im not sure what else they fit but you need like 50mm of clearance from the back of the wheels for them to fit.

i have the 10th anniv cobra brakes and i love em.

Besides the clearance issues, the 4 pot brakes are best left to cars that will see some good track time. If you're a street and/or drag runner, then they're a bit much. The 10th anniversary cobra brakes are a killer set and a massive upgrade over stock.

I have a baer kit that's basically the same as the 10th anniversary kit. Sick braking power, love them. Don't worry about doing the back ones. There's no point.

an old track kit. I don't know the part number. baerracing.com Look at their Track and Track Plus systems. I'll be getting the 2 piece rotors next time but the plain faced eradispeed 1 piece have been VERY good to me. They take more heat than I'd ever thought they could and no warpage.

There's such a huge difference... find whoever told you there wasn't any and slap them in the face with a rotten fish.

The fact of the matter is that the stock brakes do not have enough rotor mass to absorb and dissipate the kind of heat that they need to be for agressive driving or ANY track time. The calipers are just fine but since they don't fit 13" rotors, they have to be changed too.

My stops are easily 20-50ft shorter (depending on starting speed) than they were with the stockers. That's the difference between rear ending someone and not.

Besides all that... get on a curvy road and go too fast. Then use your stock brakes. They're great for going fast enough but not for going too fast. The cobra brakes allow you to get yourself out of the trouble that the V8 engine allows you to find a way into. I drive a gnarly 1 lane mountain road to work and with my stock brakes they'd glaze and fade before I got to the end of the road. Damn near killed myself a few times. With my cobra brakes, it's never even become the slightest issue. They last way way longer before they fade and they never just give up and boil the fluid like my stockers did.
