Knocking Noise

I have a strang noise coming from, I think my transmission? But for some reason when I press the clutch in, it goes away. Any guess on what it could be?

Also what does engine knocking sound like?

sounds like ur throw out bearing..

TOB is not a clunky... it's usually a high pitch chirping. Knocking could be any number of things... I had that once when a spring came off my clutch disc. It was pulling it off balance.
