Well I have a sound in the rear passenger side of the car when I hit bumps. Sounds identical to a blown shock.
I replaced my shocks, the sound was still there.
So under inspection of my new shocks, on the passenger side...the quad shock was rubbing the vertical shock. Sooo, I just spent a great deal of time fighting that god damn quad. Had to cut it off in both locations where it bolts up. I just had no choice.
Soooo after that, it STILL makes the damn noise...I dont know what else it could be other then a spring not seated right, but after inspection of the spring it looks ok too, it's turned and seated correctly.
Any ideas?

To be honest with you I didn't see a rear swaybar when I was lookin under there, My mechanic mentioned swaybar endlinks as well...Of course, Im used to most of my previous vehicles(front wheel drive) and the sway bar is in plain sight hanging there.
I will take a closer look, actually under the car looking up rather then looking in from each wheel well.
Im not real familiar with my Stang yet but I will be, haven't done a whole lot of research or forum hopping (but dont get me wrong, I do all of my own work and Im not a newb lol. Actually worked in a shop, I call my old boss my "mechanic" lol)
