Knocking Noise
 

I have a strang noise coming from, I think my transmission? But for some reason when I press the clutch in, it goes away. Any guess on what it could be?



Also what does engine knocking sound like?

How can I fix that?

TOB is not a clunky... it's usually a high pitch chirping. Knocking could be any number of things... I had that once when a spring came off my clutch disc. It was pulling it off balance.

it is more of a clicking noise. But it only at idle, when Im moving the sounds dissappears.

mine does that. I think its just the tr-3650. Its a rough ol' tranny.....

Hopefully it is a TOB. Take it to a shop and have someone with a trained ear listen to it.

normal 99+ tick. both of mine have done that. it never became anything.
