Default How loud??

I have single chamber flow masters on my stang right now...im dropping the stock midpipe on saturday and replacing it with an off road x pipe( no cats). I am just wondering how loud its going to be when i go from 4 cats to none, its really not that loud now.

I ran flows w/ dumps with my bassani catted x and it was pretty loud, like no car alarm anywhere was safe with me around but it wasn't so much that cops never left me alone about it. without cats it changed the sound type but not so much the volume... I think catless cars sound like azz but if you like em' that's your bag.

can we really call that street racing? Looks to me like you guys shut it down not too long after crossing the speed limit. BTW... the RSX kill... not even a fair race. Nice.

i think the type S was doing pretty well for himself, Ive taken them with out a seconds hesitation... but I guess the situations were different and his 6 gears prolly help a bit lol... easy victory from a stand still =D
I have magnaflows... they sound amazing, but I think I will get a nice X pipe so they are a bit louder in volume.

by dumps I mean a total lack of tail pipes... my pipes end 2" after the muffler. The flows were originally 2 chambers but then I got a wild hair and cut them open and pulled out half the guts for more sound. Bad idea... mega resonance inside the cabin.

Here is my old setup 2chamber with catted xpipe with an OR xpipe it will sound way louder. https://mustangboards.com/mustang/pi...to/210/cat/508

BTW when you do video clips cut out all the music so we can hear your exhaust better.

that sounded pretty good... makes me wish they didn't resonate so much inside my car.

I switched to borla's for the same reason. They're basically the same as magnaflow but with a shiny case... and they were freebies.

From a roll yes most definatly, but dead stop not a chance unless the RSX is on a BFG, and a very good driver....otherwise Mustang FTW

i have a bassani o/r x pipe with magnaflows and that **** is redicolus loud. gonna take out the race sleeves and add some cats to quiet it down some.

that damn x pipe shifted my tail pipes on my test drive and i melted my bumper beating the crap out of a 2005 m3. well worth it. cobra bumpers too come soon.

Single flows and a generic off road x pipe. The x pipe hangs down a little low, is that normal?
