Default Dumb Question

Alright guys sorry for the dumbass question but here it goes? The coolant reservoir for the 4.6 shows an up and down arrow on the upper part of the reservoir saying add. If my coolant is in the middle am I good? I mean it's kind of misleading cuz it doesn't say high or low like on other cars. Also how long are the change intervals for the coolant? Thanks and sorry for the dumb question.

If you coolant light doesn't come on, your good to go. I change mine every 12 months. Old coolant can actually eat your hoses and head gaskets.

as long as it's above the bottom line all is well. That's a degassing bottle so it's not really a reservior as such but more a place to remove trapped/dissolved air from the system and handle the expansion and contraction of the fluid as the engine heats and cools. Whatever you do, don't fill it when the motor is cold. It has a hot and a cold range and it's pressureized but has a limited pressure capacity. Over filling will only leave coolant on the ground and if you're as unlucky as me, crack your degassing bottle.
