Non mustang car electrical trouble
Hey folks. Got a question for ya.
I have a 84 Honda Civic DX for a beater.
Welp, it runs great but i have trouble with the tail lights.
when i turn on the car the dash lights and tail lights do not come on untill the car has run for 1-2 minuits or traveled about 150 feet. But the did always come on.
untill yesterday, it was cold as hell out and the lights wouldnt come on.
any ideas what could cause this?
bulbs are fune. fuse is fine. possoble relay trouble?

Ha ha. I'm guessing your wires are fried. That or one of the connectors are loose.
BTW, I'm guess by the way it sounds, your ricer isn't worth the 50 ft. of wiring it would take to redo all of it so just sell it and buy yourself a barbie doll.

Lol... im not lookin for another bill. i wanted something to beat the hell out of.
And i wouldnt go so far as to call it a ricer. It is all stock, i dont plan on any altezza's or boeing 747 tails on it.
its in awesome condition, runs like a champ. hyst the lights suck.
i dont think the bulb sockets are pitted, the tail running lights and the dash lights are all effected. The brake and reverse lights are good too.
i dunno. i might just have to rip all the wiring out and redo it all.
