Exhaust rattle

Default Exhaust rattle

What kind of material can i use to put between the frame and exhaust to stop my exhaut from rattleing?

Maybe header wrap?

properly aligning your exhaust will solve the problem. putting material in there to close the gap is only going to make matters worse.

I had the same problem x2 last week. well...for a few weeks until last week. I had the drivers side pipe up against the frame just over the axle, adn the tail pipe hanger on the passsenger side was up against the metal lipe around the gas tank. Was makeing a tone of noise, especially under heavy load (1.5 - 2K rpm going uphill in 5th) , so I loosened the clamp a lil from the muffler to the tail pipe to rotate the bend away from the frame, then retightened, and bent the lip or the gas tank down a lil. Now I have no more rattles, no more buzzing. Yay.
