Default My brakes squeekkkkkkkkkk

Ever since I had the Hawk Ceramic Pads and Brembo OEM replacment rotors installed in the fronmt...they have squeeled.... it sounds like its comming more from the right side brake.. also there is ALOT of brake dust (Maroon in color) covering my left front rim....it dusts more than the other side....Im close to just swapping out the pads for suttin else...I might just get the stock Ford pads....cause I cant take it much longer.

FTW! Daily drivers don't need anything else. Whether it be cobra or V6 stock pads on a dd=

hawks squeak. That's the rules. You can try EBC green for more dust but less shreiking if you insist on a performance pad.

If you would of read up on any aftermarket pads, you would of known that you give up one side, to gain on another. In this case, its skweeeeeeeking for stopping power.

It would seem that ford makes a pretty good stock pad.

Minimal doesn't mean less then stock. It means the least amount possible given the compound of the pad. Marketing at it's best

why are they fawkers? Not to put too fine a point on it but, you're the one that didn't do your homework. OEM pads are really pretty good for most street duty. They're kinda dusty but I'll take dust over the shrieking harpie any day.

Always use ford pads my friend...I had a pair of aftermarket pads on my old mustang and those little pieces of crap kept squeeking. Ford pads are the best.
