I haven't done it but I've been told that doing springs is pretty easy. There are tutorials all over the internet, maybe even a few on here. There are definetly some people running some H&R here.

Its very simple to replace springs if you have done some car work before you should be able to do it.

here is one how-to i found on mustangworld.

I have H&R's and it is easy. The black rubber looking thing, that i think your asking about, is the new bump stop. the stock one it attached under the car above your rear end housing, it's rubber and it's bigger, you just unbolt the stock one and bolt that one in.

Mine were easy....I paid a shop - LOL

Go a head and laugh, I don't care. Somewhere I had a weekend that I got to enjoy why some idiot was plugging away on my car.

For those that know me, some things I do myself, some things I watch and learn, and some things I pay for.

If you got the time, do it.

Your car has just one, and you replace that one. When you lower your car, you put the new one in that's supplied, it just prevents the rear differential from bottoming out.

look directly above your rear diff housing attached to the underside of the car body, about a foot in front of the gas tank. You'll see it. 3 bolts.
