Default New best E/T. Still has more in it.

Finally got back to the track Saturday to make some shake-down passes. The car ran well and we were able to get the fuel much closer. My A/F @ WOT was at 13.1 so I am feeling much more comfortable with that now.

My Passenger side LCA bushing is toast, the drivers side is almost as bad and that was killing my launches, the best 60' I could manage all night was pretty much a 1.9 because I didn't want to push my luck with the bushings. I'm replacing my LCA's with the MM XD LCA's (spherical bearings at both ends) to get rid of the bushings. After talking with MM they pretty much assured me that I would continue to shred bushings if I didn't change to the XD's and with MM's awesome customer service they're going to take my original LCA's back for partial trade.

The other thing that really hurt us was the humidity. It was unbelievably hot and humid (something like 80+%) worse than I think it's ever been here or close to it. I really think the car has a 12.9-13.0 in it with the right conditions.

The nitrous will be going on the car pretty soon. Still have a couple of small things to pick up and I'd really like to make at least a 13.2 pass before the bottle goes in.

Keeps getting better a little at a time! I think some of my new suspension stuff could be hurting me just a tad, but I really won't be able to diagnose that for sure until I get the LCA's right. Also ordered an FRPP Girdle for it today to get rid of the cheap-***, leaky stock Diff. cover.

With the information given and the calculator that factors in Dense Altitude.

This is what your car could run on a perfect day:

Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
13.078 @ 104.963 MPH

Extensively Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
13.204 @ 104.002 MPH

Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines
13.307 @ 103.093 MPH

If you disconnect that front sway bar that will knock a tenth off of your 60ft times.

If you're tearing up bushings as it is then before you install those new control arms (which are bad ***, I have them and love em') you need to put some torque box reinforcements in and I would weld a washer to the outsides of the tq boxes at the bolt hole to add a little more shear resistance.

The Torque boxes are already welded, but I've been hearing one of them pop a little so that's something that I'm going to look at when I do the LCA's.. May have my buddy do a little more reinforcing.

Jason @ MM seemed pretty point-blank that the XD's are practically bullet-proof so I'm looking forward to that!

Collin, do UCA's do our cars any good? MM doesn't seem to think that they really do anything.. Actually they don't even sell anything but stock replacements I don't think.

Boxed stock uppers with rubber bushings are as much as anyone should bother with. When you need more go to a torque arm and panhard bar or watts link.

That's what I thought, just gonna replace the old upper bushings too while I'm at it.

I don't know whats done to your car but thats sweet.

I bet on a less humid day, you would get a 13.2 out of it.

Add a 125 shot and you're doing 12.30's consistently I bet.

why exactly does removing the sway bar reduce your et...weigh?
