Default New Camera! (Who still has 56k? o.o)

Well, I got me a new camera (Canon Powershot), and I just wanted to try to get a
feel for it. Went to the parking garage here in town at the hospital. Sorry if the pics
are kind of dark. D: I'd love any tips on photography you guys have!

Our color cars are hard to get good night photo's unless you have good lighting. Best thing to do is go out and just change the setting up and try different things to get the hang of using your camera. I can tell you that you need more lighting in those photo's and just mess with the settings more. Good first shots though. Number 3 is the best out of them.

with night shots get a tripod and set the shutter speed for a longer time to let more light in

I think with that camera, make sure you have batteries on hand, I had a Canon Powershot once I had won at a IT Training seminar, and it was great but it ate batteries like they were going out of style, and eventually the plastic shutter came out of alignment and was messed up and of all times it was at my sisters gaduation.

Make sure you dont take pics into the direct sunlight!

I have one of the newer powershots and the rechargable battery lasts FOREVER!

Thanks guys! I got a tripod so I won't be as shaky lol. I can see why it's hard to get my color at night..
