Are you sure it was pushed in all the way?

It happen to me once with my ol'blazer. I'd checked the oil and didn't get the thing pushed down good, A few miles down the road I smalled oil and stopped. I'd blown 2qts out the tube.

a functioning PCV valve should prevent that kind of thing.

put a vac gauge on it and see if you broke a piston ring.

On a supercharged motor the PCV valve should act exactly as it does on a NA motor. It's a check valve. Depending on design they'll allow either a limited amount or no air to enter the valve cover through them. They used to be limited in function to preventing bottom end seals from blowing out in the event of a backfire through the intake. You don't want your valve covers flying off because of poor timing after all. Now with heated and sensor equipped units they're a tad more but they still do basically the same job.

So, the blower should in theory make no difference to the function.

That's another thought I had along with a compression to oil HG pop. Hope to hell it's not one of those.
