Buddy blew his engine today
I was riding passenger from a thanksgiving dinner with one of my buddys in his heavily modded Tiburon. Mods include Supercharger, ECU, Zex Kit, and a **** load of other stuff.
Well on the way home there was some cobra hauling *** passed us, looked like a bone stock 03/04 cobra. I told my buddy "try to see if that guy wants to run". Well we caught up next to him, toyed with him a bit and the guy saw we wanted to run, we started from like a 20mph, my buddy used his 75HP shot of nitrous in the cobra was able to keep up with us and take us at the end by just about half a car, well after that he was like "**** this, let me prove to you how stupid mustangs are", he told the guy he wanted to run again and he told the cobra owner "oh i slipped a gear while changing", the guy agreed we made a u turn and from about a 10mph roll we go and my buddy said im gonna use the 150shot for this, well he hit the switch, i feel my whole body get sucked into the seat and BAM!! i hear something pop from the engine and smoke start coming out. My buddy blew his engine, I felt so bad for him yet it was funny at the same time. My buddy was there litteraly crying at what was his car and i had to wait in the middle of no where for like 2 hours for a tow truck to come and my bro to come pick me up. It was fun, my buddy didn't even say a word after what happened and i was there with a serious face yet laughing in my mind

What a dumbass. First of all the Cobra was able to take a car that light with that many mods plus juice, second of all it's a Tiburon...it deserves to be dead. I bet he learned his lesson.

150 shot is completely insane on a car like that especially with a blower. I am no Hyundai expert, but I would say he got way too greedy. Zhit, on that car, the dam nitrous line is prolly bigger then the intake - LOL
I would not cry too much if I were him. He only has himself to blame and I am sure he can find a used motor to around a $1000 or just sell his nitrous and blower and get a good new one and start over.

See, this is what i dont understand. Yer gonna buy a slow piece of junk, then spend thousands of dollars just to get it as fast as a GT, then yer gonna spend thousands more to get it to where it still cant hang with a cobra, and yer engine takes a fat bite out of **** sandwich and craps out.

OOO ok, so we can do all these major mods, yet we cant change our oil? Better have a shop do that because thats really hard to do! Retard.
All mods I have done myself, I am proud to say that no shop has ever had my car (except for oil changes).
