he doesn't seem like a ricer, from the comments he has made on youtube. and at 20psi he would leave 90% of of the board in his dust.

hell even at 12psi he would rape all the v6's on this board.

why are you hating so hard?

One of my friends asked why i didnt like the car when it was that fast, I said put half the money in a real car and you could do the same thing without sounding like ****.

At 12 psi he MIGHT be a 13 second car at a track. At 20 psi, he MIGHT be a low 12 second car at best.

All motor, no suspension, no tires, worthless. I've ran 20 psi civics, not only did I rape them off the line, but I would put car lengths on them. I've also ran turbo'd S2000s with maybe 6-8lbs and while it was a better race, still would beat them.

Put 20psi on something worthy like a STI or an EVO and they'd take my lunch money though..

I've seen legit fast civics, they've got a parachute on the back and run 8-9 second quarter miles.

You dont slide as much around a corner, they just go straight. If you are going straight sometimes they will go slightly to the side... like my mom's focus on ice, thats why they need e-brakes to get it sideways

of course you left them off the line....fwd's don't 60ft well.

sure, you have to ask why spend all that money on a FWD only to run 12's.....but you could say that about any car. if all that mattered was how fast for how much, we would be driving Super Comp dragsters for cost of building a fast street car.

people build mustangs for the same reason people build hondas.....to each his own. it just bugs me hear people talking **** about a FWD, when that FWD would spank thier *** on a dragstrip.

That civic would not even pull on my bolt-on GT. That's why we're bitching.

IT'S NOT FAST!

He had wheel spin because he has spare tires, which is actual why I'd probably pull on him even more than usual. He's gone through all the trouble for what? To turn a POS into a turbo'ed POS? Look at the pics of teh engine bay for christ sake. It looks like he just bought the thing from a junkyard and then bought a turbo kit from ebay and hooked it up.

It's a 1.8 in the first place. And it's only SOHC. And it's still slow, but he talks about beating bolt-on GTs.

Go suck his dick some more and then come back with a better reason why he shouldn't be flamed.

I don't see you driving a 10-sec car that you built, or you posting videos so I don't see where the **** you have the ***** to say anything about that. I have videos of me running the **** out my car at a road course, where REAL drivers test their skills.

My FWD turbo car hauls *** and does it without all that damned racket. 240hp/tq to the ground with poise and control. Total cost, 20K. Put 10 grand into a $5K honda and you still don't get anywhere near the same poise or performance.

My main gripe is, if you're going to make the thunder, have the lightning to back it up. Making a 120dB exhaust roar so you can still be relatively slow isn't interesting, it's just loud.

Man, someone has a super absorbent tampon up their ***. Dude, it's not even your car. Why get all butthurt about it? Yes it's fast for a civic, but it's still a piece a ****. I'd love to see the video once he's at 20psi.

I did that, and it was a v6.

It isn't that it is a fwd car only running 12s. Some honda motors (I want to say the h22 and the b something, but i'm not 100% sure) will do alot better then 12s on even 12psi.

And to be honest, I still don't see the car running 12s at all. It wouldn't suprise me if the welding on the piping for the turbo is fucked up and leaking.. the fact that he forged the bottom end and just plopped a turbo on doesn't mean it'll run 12s, but he may be a "roll racer" so, whatever.

Ricers always overestimate everything. They always say yea it should be pushing about 220whp, when it turns out it really only pushes out 190. Or that it'll run 12s, when it runs mid-13s. Or for this dousche he says he's got "wicked tire spin" even though his wheels are the say size as my spare.

No matter what cars like r3d's Cobalt and SRT-4s will always be better than a civic simply because they don't look and sound like ****. A civic might be able to put out more power if done right, but it will never look decent at all.

I think r3d's comment pretty much sums it up. If it sounds like it's fast then it should be able to back it up, otherwise it's a POS.

Thats just it, and alot of them get defensive about it too. If someone talks **** about my mustang (yes it's a V6, it runs mid 16s in MN, its not fast but I keep it clean) I say hey, this is my street car... come out to the track on a wednesday night and you can race against a fast car. Depending on the attitude of the other guy is how i phrase that. You would not believe how many excuses some guys will give you to not go out there. The best is when they ask to go race out on some road, but say the strip is too dangerous.

Now I know there are even guys that have faster cars then my bracket car, but those usually arent the guys that overestimate everything, and for the most part their car's dont look like ****. There are two guys that lived a few housed down from me with an older honda prelude and an eclipse. They never once talked **** to someone who didnt have it coming and have complimented me on my 16 second mustang multiple times rather than be douches about it. And somehow they found out how to make fast imports without it sounding like a dying baby.

On a side note, super comp dragsters have more in a computer to slow down their cars than most people have on this sight into their cars... in my case that included the price tag of BOTH of my cars. I know they are still fast but there is a ton of money into them. And you really cant take one of those out on the street and drive it for fun.

Well, that might be my next task. I'm trying to decide what I want to do.

Either mod the Cobra and make it more of a beast than it is. Or just to put a stroker in the GT and then get a small shot of spray, or maybe a single turbo. Idk. It'll all have to wait a while until we get moved into a new house. Then I may try a home-port on the Cobra and see how that goes.

I thought the whine was cool. Then I got into a turbo'd car...whole new level of "oh ****" excitement. The cute blow off is fun and all, but being in the car while it's building the boost and hearing a turbo go apeshit is just..amazing..

A good turbo kit compared to a roots whine..idk...the turbo just amazes me.. plus, if you stand infront of it...it could suck your...well... you know what I'm getting at..
