SOmeone Help Tranny and shock problems hElp !!!!!!!!!

ok i am getting ready to do a tranny swap and i need to know if a tranny from a 97 v6 will fit a 2000 v6 please help and i have 90,000 miles should i change my shock my car is lowered 2 inches and rides like crap thansk

OH i have 90,000 miles on my car do you think it is a good idea to change my shocks my car rides like crap
