Also you could probably buy a bigger filter to make it better, and yeah it seems exposed but its really not :P

No, it sounds twice as good with it in, and you CAN feel a slight acceleration boost. Very slight, but you can still feel it. At least I can with MY car.

i had a V6 and wasted some time and money on things like a CAI and a throttle body. the only mods that made an improvement were gears and a t-lock.

i suggest that you just keep doing research and learning as much as you can until you really do something. americanmuscle.com is a great website to buy parts, and they have tons of good tech articles.

i didn't see anywhere if you had stated if you have a manual or automatic transmission. if you have a standard shifter, maybe get yourself a short throw shifter. it'll making driving a little more fun, shifting will be smoother, and if you know how to use a ratchet you can install it yourself. i did my first one in about an hour.

I swapped back to my stock intake a few weekends ago and instantly noticed it being more sluggish. I even reset the ECU to accommodate it. I timed my 0-60 for both intakes. My cold air gave me lower times, around 1 second. It's deffinately noticable. Maybe it's just because I drive my car so much, I'm able to tell if something is slightly off, who knows

Basic bolt ons will do nothing on the v6.
Why are you trying to replace cats? Hi-flow or not, they are still restrictive and a waste of money, if anything remove the cats.
And to the guy who believes his 0-60 time was improved by a CAI, I think you're on drugs sir.

I don't care if you believe me or not lol
I just can't seem to remember if I did that before or after my new exhaust setup. If it was after, than that could be why it improved as well.

Well if thats the issue then hi-flow cats aren't going to do much for you, they don't have a CARB stamp. If anything unbolt your entire exhaust and get a o/r x or h pipe and then a catback.

Rear bumper is easy to put on. Just do it your self.
