Default Ignition wires?

Hey im thinkin about changing the ignition wires and spark plugs on my car. Just because you get a bit better performance and my cold startup is AWFUL. I was thinkin these for wires and getting them in blue to match my other wiring.(wonderin if there are any better)

And for spark plugs im not sure, do they have to be specifically for sixxers? Or if i just buy ones for a V8 will i just have an extra 2? Also does brand matter for either wires or plugs?

The fact of the matter is that until you push alot of power and have spark blow out then better wires aren't going to do anything. Those however are fairly inexpensive so why not go with them if you like them and they come in a color you like.

As for spark plugs go into any parts store and have them look up the plugs for your car, I like NGK and TR55 plugs would be the ones for you, and ask for 6 of them.

Yea i figured the wires wouldnt do much besides look nice, and maybe help the slightest bit. But i already took blue wire covers to all the wiring in my engine besides the ignition wires so this would make it snap Ill probably order those wires tommorow or tonight then get the plugs from autozone if possible. Thanks for the info

Be sure to get a plug gapper they cost like 50cents I think. You need to gap each plug because more then likely they will not be correct for your car.

You would want anti-seize to put on the spark plugs threads so they don't get stuck in the cylinder headers.
