Transmission Confusion

Default Transmission Confusion

I looked at where my VIN number is on my car, but I cant figure out what transmission I have? All it says Under Tr is G. (If thats not where im supposed to be looking please correct me) Without knowing what transmission i have I cant get a short shifter. Thanks

maybe this will help some, the t-5/t-45 uses the same short shifter; at least from this company, not sure on others. Almost everyone will recommend the MGW shifter to you, which one are you looking at?

You have a t5 transmission just like all the v6 mustangs.

MGW makes a great shifter... I've been happy as hell with my steeda tri-ax and pro5.0 shifters over the years.

I use the MGW and love it. Super solid feeling piece. I haven't used others but thats where my vote goes.

Any shifter is better stock, just pick one up that you can afford and like.
