Default How to solve my hieght problem

Hi, I have a 1999 silver V6 Mustang that looks similar to this, height wise that is. How do I get it lowered? Bigger rims? Lowering kit? I want it lower. I don't want that gay tuner look of the wheels hiding under the fender, and I don't want it to be a low rider. I've looked at some suspension parts on AM but they only do about 1.5' in the front and 2.5' in the back. Any personal experience or advise?

I have the same mustang but black. I bought the ford racing lowering springs from americanmuscle and they definately took away the height problem.I have 18' saleen wheels with the springs and it looks amazing. So in my opinion i like the ford racing springs, plus they are easy to install. Hope this helped

yes lowering springs will get you the result you want. A 1.5" drop is usually enough. 2" is also possible with the H&R Super Sports. When replacing springs it is usually a good idea to upgrade your shocks and struts as well. Depending on how large of a drop you do you will also need Caster Camber Plates as well so you can properly align your car
