Default Electrical Problem...

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but it isn't really a V6 specific question...

Recently I installed a clear gt foglight kit on my sixer. I wired it per the instructions and everything worked out great! One night, about a week later I pull my (very americanized) headlight button out and oddly enough, my headlights come on but my dash lights, gauges, yellows (blinkers and running break lights) and fog lights are off... I pushed the switch back in and pulled it out one more time... same deal... I messed with it for a good 20 minutes and found out if I pull it out slowly, I can find a nitch where everything comes on properly. It seems like something was shorted out...

I checked some fuses and relays and found nothing... any suggestions?

(I'm taking it to the dealer in a few days to see what's going on...)

::info:: I do have white face gauges installed too, if that makes a difference.

Sounds like a bad headlight switch to me.
