What would be the best/cheap tuner for a 2004 V6 3.9L Mustang? I have read nothing bad about superchips. Is that the best tuner for (I guess) a cheap price?

 

You get more flexibility with the tunes if you go with an x3. Your sig says no mods are done to your car, so honestly I think you'd be better off getting 4.10 gears for a little extra "umph!"

 

The company you get the chip/flasher from does not matter. What matters is the tune file itself. That's what actully makes the car faster. I can tell you that superchips makes generic tunes that are pretty weak. I had one in my F150 and it sucked. On their 93 octane tune I could run 87 while towing my boat at WOT and it did not ping. Their stuff is way to conservative for me.
