Tuner question- Dyno required?
I've been wanting to buy a tuner for some time now but have had some questions.
I want to adjust my shift points, ever since I had my new gears installed I feel like my second gear doesnt shift soon enough when I have the gas pinned. It's quite annoying and taking my car to redline probably isn't the best thing.
So I was wondering, with the Diablosport Predator, can you change the RPM shift points without going to a dyno? I dont know of any near me and I'd like to just do it myself if I could, and go to the dyno at a later time.
From what I've read it looks like its just plug and play with no dyno required but I'm not a fan of surprises.

The only thing I would say you need a dyno for is if you want to mess with the A/F ratios with the tuner. You could have it hooked up to a wideband or something and they could figure out some good A/F ratio stuff for you. Or you could just not mess with the A/F and let the pre installed tune do it.
Untill you have a signifigant number or mods or a power adder I don't think you should worry about a dyno.
