Default Good trade?

Well, my sixer's got 105k miles on her, and I don't really want to modify it any more. There's a guy near me with an 86 5.0 with low miles on it. KBB put our cars right at the same price. The reason he wants to trade is because he bought the car for his wife and she said it's too fast for her. I really like that 5.0, and I like foxbodies. I'll have pics up later when he emails me back, but as far as everything I've said, does it sound like a good trade?

For me, it would depend on the condition of the Fox body and the condition of your car. If your car's condition isn't that great, and the condition of the Fox is decent thats a +1. Then I would think about how you feel about your car. If you just don't have any interest in your car anymore like you used to, then thats another reason to trade. The 5.0s have tons of potential and maybe you've hit a wall with the v6. That kinda how I was with my v6, it just didn't hold any interest for me anymore so I had to get something different.

Same with me. I had a sixer for 8 months, then I had to have more power. I think if the thought of driving the 5.0 excites you more than the thought of driving your sixer, maybe it's worth it.

i would do it if the foxbody is in good shape since you dont even feel like modding your car anymore and you can do tons to a 5.0

Yeah the car makes me really excited. The whole engine has been rebuild 10k ago, and the transmission was replaced a year ago. It has anew convertible top and there's nothing mechanically wrong with it. The only downer is the paint is gross, so I'll have to drive it like is until I can repaint it...

A vert fox, I don't know how I feel about that. But me, I am a big Fox fan and if its in good shape and your tired of your car why not.
