might trade my car in...
for an 04 mach 1
i wanted to kill time yesterday so i went to the ford dealership to see what new stuff they had got in. i saw a white mach 1. has 13k on it. the guy pretty much MADE me test drive it and that thing drives like a dream, so smooth, the leather in these cars is so nice, and the sound of the stock engine is pretty damn nice. not to mention the kick *** sound system. i started to negotiate with them and brought the car down from 32 g's to 21, and they were offering me 14k for my car. i told them i couldnt sign anything without my dad, because he will have to co-sign for me since i fukd my credit up. when the manager at ford found out my dad workd for the nissan dealership right next door, he was like wtf, im not guna sell this car to you, all your dad has to do is make a couple of phone calls, one to the GM, and one to corporate and tell them he wants the car for his son, and they will hook it up. so today my dad is going to look into it, and if they give it up for anything under 21 g's, then i will most likely trade my car in for it. i hear they run 13.0's stock, but im not sure. i hope i get it
the manager at ford also offered me a job. i think it was because he saw what an ******* i was when we were negoatiating lol

a mach 1 has a unique look, is hard to find, has a nice sound system, runs low 13's stock, and has a clean interior. a whole second faster than a stock GT, and a nicer interior than a cobra, but of course i would rather have a cobra. they are hard to find for anything under 25 and thats if your lucky.

Sounds like a good deal, but I dunno, 21 for a used mach is still kinda high I think. I though some were sub 20's? Anyway, factor in the increase in insurance if there is one. Also, dont take a job at a dealership if its selling cars. Heres are article to look into.

Get the Mach dude, you won't regret it at all! It's funny cause everytime anyone ever asks about getting a Mach 1 on this website someone always says (usually springstang..ha ha ha) "why don't you just get a 03/04 Cobra instead"..."or there isn't that much difference between a Mach 1 and GT" Bull**** My Mach would run circles around my 03 GT with almost all the boltons. Besides I've never seen an 03/04 Cobra for under $26-27K around where I live.
I think last October MM&FF magazine had an article that compared the 04 GT vs 04 Mach 1 vs 04 Cobra......MM&FF chose the Mach as the best all around car and if I remember right the Cobra didn't exactly blow the Mach out of the water....to be fair the Cobra was a vert
By the way 21K for a Mach with 13,000 miles on it is a really good deal. I paid $22k for mine and it had 28,000 miles or so on it. It was worth every penny
