Exclamation car problems

i'm having car problem for some reason the car feels heavy like its draging some thing in the back. i just make a oil change last week and when it reaches 3rd shift the rpm goes to 2 and its feels slow then i press the gas it takes time to pick up. i dont know if its the oil. btw i put Mobil 1 5W-30.

i dont know if is the oil making it slow and why it takes time to pick up speed.
any help will do

could be the oil.

or it could be lose pulleys, that happened to me one time and it felt like something was tugging against me.

maybe take it to a mechanic and have him repair your car. It has a problem.

If it feels like it's dragging somthing heavy your rear brakes could be stuck a little bit closed this may sound stupid but I just fixed the brakes on my car the slide pins on the calipers had oxidized and were stuck gripping the rotors just a little bit but it felt like I had an invisible trailer and it was killing my gas mileage. I took apart the calipers yanked out the slide pins, sanded of the rust off, lubed them up and now they are as good as new

But you live in Texas so rust is probably not a problem for you

Oil? Holy crap. You guys are killing me. There is no way in hell engine oil could ever cause a car to drag. If you have an oil problem, the engine might cease up, but it won't sure as hell drag.

If it is as you describe, you have a serious problem with something else, but don't look at the oil. Plugged fuel filter? Perhaps. Dirty MAF? Maybe. Dicked-up TPS? Possible. If it is not making the power it should, you are either not getting enough fuel or air or both. Sometimes this can be nothing more then a sensor out of whack.....even an O2 sensor. The brake suggestion is even possible. If the car has alloy wheels, the wheels should not be hot. If you have a hanging caliper, the wheel can get hot as hell.....enough to cause a tire to blow from heat.

This car needs to see a mechanic. Most certainly don't put seafoam in it under any circumstance. That won't resolve anything. You need to find the problem, then correct it, not guess by dumping chemicals in it.

That line should not get plugged. Was it gooey oil? If so, sounds like you are getting a lot of blowby which can be caused by bad rings (blown motor).

what do you guys think the problem could be for this.. my auto v6 is starting to shift weaker, like i gas it an when it shifts it changes gear and drops the speed a little to where I have to push faster on the gas to maintain speed.. it isnt transitioning with power like it was when I bought it... an a low drone sound at 40-45 4th gear... I have the clicking sound under my car too when its warm, so im trying to figuere out if it could all be the same problem or where to start. the ford dealer wanted to take a part my whole engine to find the clicking noise, an didnt say nothing about how to fix the drone, which they heard,.. so im sorta stuck
