Bought my 2006, V6, Auto, new April 2006, and have 41,265 to and from work. Has only S&B CA and get's 30.5 miles/gal traveling half distance at 60 and other half at 75mph. If somewhat hard on it: 28.5/gal to and from work. Wisconsin winter averages 28mi/ gal. Use nothing but 10W-30 MOBIL 1, true synthetic, and change every 10,000-12,000. When reaches 200,000, will get same gas mileage. Experience from 1975.

2002 GT at the moment I got just over 77K on her. Still running strong. I just did a brake job on it and the pads that came on the car when I bought it new were still in good shape really. It just needed new rotors some kind of bad! so I redone it all at one time.

LOL

My father's 1981 mustang Hatch has 250,000 + change.

It's only got a 15$ trade-in value, though.

You could literally triple the worth of the car when you fill the gas tank.

I got 30 mpg on a recent drive from Florida to Michigan on my 98 v6. As I said I have over 130,000 miles. The odometer broke at 101K a few years ago. I have always used Mobil 1 10w-30. from the first oil change at 3000 miles. I change my oil about every 10k too. The rear-end went out at about 78k wich turned out to be a good thing as I got a rear-end upgrade from a newer model GT.

Default 271,563 Still going and going and going........

W up guys, well lets see is somebody has more milles than my car? I have a 1998 V6 mustang and right now i have 271,563 KKKKKKK YEA I KNOW, DAMMMM.
My wife bought this car in 98 with 4 milles on it from the dealer and ever since that, its been our commute buddy. The only repairs i have done to it are, a new alternator that went out around 175k and at 215K my thow out berring went out on the clutch wish only cost me like $40 but since i was going to be on the clutch area i figured i might as well change the clutch at the same time, not that it was bad but i figured, at 215k it should be hahahahahah. Finally the intake gasket went out at 250k the good thing was that it went out the same week that my new 2007 Roush Stage 2 Convertible came in, but dont worry guys i dont plan on running up the milles on this one.
The intake gasket only cost me $25 to replace it my self. I know that some poeple say that ford is no good, but i love telling those same people the millage that i have and looking at their jaws drop HAHAHAHA yes we are proud or our millege because we know that the 18K that we spent on buying that car has been well used.

OK guys, i will let you guys know when i reach 300k and i think we might make it in one year, but the secret is oil change every 3-4k and dont force the engine.

Oh the milles are most freeway milles to work and some trips to L.A. and T.J.

I just purchased a used 2005 Mustang V6 Automatic. It currently has 181,250 miles on it and runs great.
