Thumbs up How many miles on your 4.6?

I have an 01 GT auto. It has 82,300 miles on it and runs perfect. I was just wondering what kind of miles other forum members have on thier rides. Let's hear it and let me know if your engine is tight? MarkM

38,000. My dad's old F150 has over 200,000 w/ the original clutch and his co-worker is still driving it everyday.

01 GT: 61,500 miles or so. It runs just fine, but creaks and rattles a lot both inside and out. I think I have quite a few bushings going bad or something.

I have to admit that I thought that I would hear more guys saying they have over 80,000 on thier cars! I was reading an issue of Fast Fords and Mustangs and they were doing an engine swap out of a 97 or a 98 GT with 196,000 miles on it. Before they pulled the motor, they ran it on the dyno and it still put down 235hp! They said it was tired.

I think these motors can go a long way with proper maintenace and care. Thanks to everyone and thier input. Mark M
