Default anthoer thread of dual exhaust!

Hi Guys!

i read the sticky about it

and im wondering if you guys knows the 2 kit (cat back) that MT sale, do i really need to change the bumber for a GT? and do i need to install a Y-pipe or its already on my car? and probably under my car there nothing for hold the new pipe (right side) do that is included in the box or i need to order it?
and by opinion.... the mac one or the magnaflow?

You dont need to replace the bumper, you can just have the tailpipes stick out of the bottom. It dont look bad at all. Also, your car already has a y pipe that connects the 2 pipes from each header. What I did was I got a pacesetter H pipe adapter, and cut the y pipe, then popped the h pipe on, and then you have the 2 pipes to hook up the mufflers to, and the rest is self explanitary. I doubt the kit comes with hangers, which you will need to get. They arent that expensive. I got mine at a local ford dealership for i beleive 20 bucks.

ok, but if i just want, i can get the kit and leave the ypipe original?
and im not gonna instal it myself, do you think in a muffler shop they have the hanger? or i really have to go to ford to get some?
do MT carry them?

any muffler shop will install it with everything u need (hangers, tips, etc.)

keep the cost down, u can get a cat-back kit for like 300 from either Mac or Spintech (I love my Spintech set up) and just have them run them out... u can cut your V6 bumper to let it come out right, or swap with a GT bumper if your really concerned about it... as for sound and price, Mac and Spintech should be you best bet...

thanks!

i was planning to let them pass under the bumper! i like the look!

but on MT they have magnaflow and Mac, wich one is sound better? and for the price almost 100$ difference... any opinion on those?

and get your mufflers seperatly ... the place that put mine in said it would be 500 for dual with mufflers and 250 without ... i got both of mine for 140 so i saved a lot

ok! but im planning to get the kit, like that i dont have to worry to find all the part

so any advice? the Mac kit? or the Magnaflow!

im readdy to buy! just need expert to guide me
