Default Tru-Dual vs. Dual Catback

Ok, so I just bought a '95 V6 Mustang. I like the power and comfort (especially when compared to my gay previous ricer) and I ordered a Steeda short ram intake. Now I'm looking at adding an exhaust soon and I'm debating between a tru-dual exhaust or a dual catback. What I want to know is is the extra money I'll spend on a trual-dual worth it? What would the difference in dyno gains be between the two? And what are my best options for both? I don't want to spend a fortune either.

i assume your talking about the diffrent between a Y pipe and using a true duel midpipe such as an X or H pipe.

Now obviously an X or H pipe will flow better, giving you more HP but you might loose a little tq depending on how good of flow it is. Im sure it will be louder as well.

May i ask what you have planned for the car? do you want to go crazy? do you have a HP goal? or just a nice looking feeling car for a daily driver?

I don't need a drag car, but I would like a decent amount of power out of my V6. Besides the Steeda cone, I want to do a full exhaust, from the engine block back. Also I want to tighten up my suspension, add a larger throttle body, and maybe cams. Ill probably upgrade the ECU sometime too. Other than that, I don't really know what else there is to do besides forced induction or boring the engine over.

If you want full exhaust go w/ MAC longtube headers, Mac catted h-pipe, and what ever cat-back you want. I just got my exhaust in today from Jegs. Im going to be running true duals (W/ maybe a crossover, i've got 20 ft of tubing) into Flowmaster original 40s. My total was $240 w/ handling for 5- 4ft. sections of 2.25 inch tubing, 2- oringinal 40s, and 2- 3in. chrome tips. And the muffler shop is installing its all for about $170.

going full exhaust (LT's etc) is going to flow to much for a stock engine without a power adder. So to backup that free flowing of exhaust, either do H/C/I or a power adder.

and forget the TB, it is useless
