abs sensor bolt

Default abs sensor bolt

is there any way to get that off easy? it the only thing that is holding me back. i had everything off except that bolt. (this was before my surgery. lol.) any help would be nice.

Tanner (Tclark22), i know you just did this, if you could chime in too it would be great.

If I am not mistaken, it is simply a 12 point socket. Not 100% on the size though.

If you're talking about the ones in the back, most of the time, if you can't just wrench them off with a 12 point socket and some PB Blaster, you have to destroy them. Try a propane torch but be careful the plastic doesn't catch on fire. I think I ended up ripping them apart with a pair of channel locks and then getting more PB blaster, heat and a wrench/vice grip. Then you buy new ones, they're not too expensive if I remember..maybe $40 each

They seem to freeze really easy in there.

that's a fact.. I just failed to reconnect the rear sensors. Leaves me with never having to worry about traction control or ABS.

man my dad and I just did this back in Oct...im thinking we used a 1/4" or 5/16" socket to get mine off...they were a PITA too...i'll have to ask my dad what we used.

old thread but a box end wrench will work too.
