Default my cars suspension is basically stock...

i wanted to throw a built block in it this year but with shipping and the dangers of shipping something that bulky has lots of risks that i dont want to deal with. so when i come back to the states i will buy the longblock than and install it.

so for now im just going to get my suspension straight.

currently on the car:
1. eibach pro-kits
2. bullitt struts and shocks
3. LOL thats it

what i plan to order and install
1. XL MM subframe connector.
2. MM LCA's thinking about the bushing upgrade too
3. i have steeda UCA's chillin in my garage.
4. strange 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks
5. MM caster/camber plates so i can set my alignment better for strip duty.
6. i may also get a bumpsteer kit because i never realized how bad it was.
7. different springs what should i go with. foxbody front springs, or run off the shelf drag springs.
8. what am i missing???? what would you do differently

before you set off for road race. i drive a subaru that holds its own in stock form on the auto-x tracks i went to this past summer. i beat out a modded focus that was completly gutted and lots of suspension. he had better rubber while i had All seasons (goodyear F1 all seasons own) at 32 psi.

edit: mods please move to suspension sub forum...

well i broke down and ordered up items 1, 2,5, and 6. i got the HD LCA's with the regular bushing on the axle side. i wont be shocking the rear anytime soon since i dont have a transbrake so they should last.

now i just need to find a good deal on the struts and shocks and research the drag spring options. im thinkin about doin the samething that 03mustangGT did. waiting patiently for him to chime in. dont fear my thread R3D

Best daily driver/strip spring setup for the track is 4banger fox body front springs and stock GT/or bullet springs in the rear along with those shocks/struts from lakewood and you will have nice weight transfer.

i like the prices of the lakewoods on summit. should i just do the 90/10 and say fawk it. a lot of sharp turns and the high speeds we carry on the bahns.

The 90/10s are a nice drag/street strut, but they are more drag than anything so handling will be not so sweet. You have a different car for that you said though so do it for the best weight transfer plus like you said you cant beat the price of them.
