Default Help with install of tr 3650 short shifter

I have a 2000 mustang Gt
I installed the tr 3650 and now it works good sometimes

Sometimes it does not go into 3rd and sometimes it does not go int 4th

it is driving me crazy

anyone has any advice in what i did wrong

in the picture attached i pointed out 2 pieces that i am not sure where it goes
and if that is the source of the problem
when i checked the install guide it does not mention those 2 parts any where

PLEASE HELP

yeah, you might want to take out the shifter and put your stocker back in before you jack something up and end up having to spend lots of $$$ to fix the tranny.

tr3650 has a drain plug on the bottom. T45/t5 don't.. easy to tell which is which.
