Very good thing to get with it.It replaces the need for a sealer and reduces noise from the tranny.Makes it alot quieter.

Alot of people like it and some don't.They all do about the same thing. The new hot one is the MGW that alot of people are going with now.I have a Hurst which I'm not all that happy with.

It's a good shifter for sure though.

I installed my tri-ax wednesday evening and so far I like it. It has taken a little getting used to, the throw is short, but it makes for some quick shifts. I got the gasket set and you should use the base gasket at least. The handle comes with a thick rubber gasket but I used the one in the kit as well hoping to cut down on a little of the gear whine. Easy install and only took about 45 minutes. Make sure to have a socket with and extension or a swiveling head when you go to do it though, makes things a lot easier.

congrats. I love mine. Mine came with aluminum shifter handle bushings that I'd get a little vibration/whine from so I used a little blue RTV (super thin coat) around them and that's hushed up the gear whine.
