Don't worry, this is the last one. Anyway, what would be cheaper, Magnaflow cats or OEM 05+ cats? For Magnaflows, which do you recommend?

 

do you already have an aftermarket pipe? if you dont, just get the catted x from magnaflow. also, never get the cats that are round, they sag really low, like my slp. i wish i spent the extra money and got a magnaflow.

 

This is for long tubes that I'll be getting (either Hedman or Hooker) but I really want a H-pipe set-up so I may end up fabbing my own or just buying a off road H-pipe and adding cats to them.

 

Buy a Mac o/r H and put some Magnaflow cats on it.

How much modifing would I need to do to make a Mac H-pipe fit w/ Hookers? Just a matter of width or will shortening/lengthening do the trick?

 

Yeah with that you would just be widening or shortening it like you said.

 

Awesome guys, thanks for all the help. I think my plan of attack will be Hookers w/ a Mac off-road H-pipe (or the Hooker X-pipe for the time being, depending on price) until I can get some cash to add in Magnaflow cats.
