how do u take of the diff panels to paint? and what kinda paint is a good brand to get? (thinking of doin some of my panels RED, because i got a black stang and all black interior and wanna go for red n black...) thx guys...

i saw a black stang wit the red painted...looked real nice...its in the MT members photo area...

its a cobra tho...guess you cant tell really tho...

Well, I have been wanting to paint mine red too, but I just can't see how it won't chip off once I get it painted and back on.

 

They sell a type of dye/paint that wont chip off.

 

Well, I got Krylon Fusion for plastics and tested it on another black piece of plasitc...i cleaned it with alchohol, used adhesion promoter, painted in an enclosed area of my garage (it was still kinda cold), and used a blowdryer...it still chipped really bad...any suggestions?

 

spray a few coats of clearcoat over it after the base coats have dried fully.

 

50resto sells the stuff you need it actually stains the surface.

 

ive decided that imma do this, but not quite sure on the color, its from that cobra on MT pics but idk the exact color, anyone got an idea?

Thats the saleen wing. That cobra is probably insanely fast.
