Default Cleaning Question

Hey guys, I took off those strips that came with the car that run down the center of the doors.. and there's a whole bunch of that adhesive that i can't get off. I tried goo-gone and a razor blade (the razor blade idea didn't last too long).. and a lot of the adhesive is still there.

Also, can I just buff out the color difference with wax after the adhesive is removed?

use enamal reducer very lightly. Do not rub it in.
Soak a microfiber and let it sit on an area for a few seconds and try rubbing it off by hand, or whiping it off. it should come off pretty easily.

...or go to Walmart and get a can of 3M Adhesive Remover. Works great, no paint damage.

Thanks for the advice though, I'll run down to wal-mart and check that out.

Just get some decent adhesive remover. Allow it to soak it. You may need to add it 2,3, 4 timres. Make sure the surface is warm...not hot and use a hard rubber scrapper. They sell them in auto parts stores. The same scraper you use to take to apply putty and vinyl.
