Default How 'bout a little neon?

I was actually thinking about putting some white neon lights in my engine compartment way down deep to throw some light up from the bottom. I thought it would look cool. Anyone done this. You would not see the bulbs, just the light.

One thing, though, the engine bay had better be clean, because any dirt would really show up.

I think it would look pretty good.

I saw an old guy do this on an 1968 Cutless SS and it looked really cool. He used blue lights as his car is blue. I thought it was cool, and sort of legitimized the use of neons.

as long as it isnt fast and the furious style. i think it would be fine. i only see this as a advantage to indoor shows and car shows the go into the night hours.

I seen a white ford lighting at a car show a few years back and he had white LEDs on a random slow flash inside of his engine bay. It looked like it was just gleaming and it looked pretty sharp. I think he had to have about 8 or so.
