Default LED/Neon lights...

okay, so i kinda wanna give my car some "character" by adding neons that line the under carriage of my car...just wondering if you have ever seen anything like this on a stang? also, my car is screaming yellow so what color of light would you suggest I use? i'm guessing just a simple yellow will do fine...any suggestions on where i could get a setup like this..besides ebay plz

peace

Don't put neons on the outside.

i wouldn't drive around with them on or anything...i'd just flip them on if i was going into a store at night or just hanging around with friends...i just kinda want to make the stang stand out a lil more and thought neons would be kinda cool..trust me, i'm not gonna go overboard or anything...just a couple on the under sides of the car and a lil neon stick under the front and rear bumper, nothing major

plz don't do it. Just do some more visual mods and it will make it stand out and leave the neons/strobes/undercarrage lights to the ricers.

yellow will look fine so long as you attach them to the car so you can't see the tubes. whitethunder46 who is selling his car had neons, and they looked fine.

I had red ones on my red mustang and everyone was always telling me how good it looked. I never crossed paths with anyone who didn't like them in fact. But all I say is that you keep the bulbs hidden. If you can see them redo them, b/c that just looks horrible. And as for driving with them, I had red lights and every time I went off base at night, I'd turn them on. I got stopped for a speeding ticket once with them turned on and the cop told me that while technically they were illegal, no cop would bother me about them as long as they couldn't see the bulbs. He then told me that they looked great. For your car, if it's yellow, stick with yellow. They'll look good, I swear.

Just a word of advice, while LED's are brighter, real neons are smoother and look better.
