Default removing paint overspray from painted wheels.

what is the best thing to use on some painted bullitts to remove some overspray. i put some anthracite bullitts on and one of them looks like it was sitting next to a spray paint project. it has black spray paint on it. what should i use for the painted surface. i used some metal polish for the lip and it came off rather easily, but i am not sure about the painted surface. should i try some polishing compound or a clay bar or something better?

I would go ahead and try the clay bar since it's meant for use on paint.

I would use a clay bar first. However most over the counter ones are very mild and might not be able to do the job.

well, i went as cheap as i could. picked me up some of this from autozone(1.99 i think)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...0ERZE50Q4116WA

worked just fine. got me a paper towel and rubbed it for a couple minutes and it took it right off. funny thing, i tried a buffer at first and the old elbow grease and paper towel worked quicker. maybe it is because i am inexperienced with a buffer. that is why i haven't buffed my paint job out like i planned on. it has been painted for about a year now and still haven't gotten around to it.
