Default What to do with stock badges.

I have a new set of 3 badges and I'm trying to come up with something new for them. I will not put them on stock. I am thinking either take all the black off so they are full chrome looking. Or that and paint the GT mineral gray, or paint the part that is black now MG, or all black, or MG background and black GT. Hrmmmmm not sure what I am gonna do. I think I will take some pics of all three choices and see what you all think about this. I enjoy the little touches on a car.

Its these badges for those who don't know. And its not my car

UPDATED with some photoshoped ones.

I like the idea of painting the inside of the badge MG.

No no, my car has nitrous on it. I just mean the GT badge.

ANd I was thinking the outside MG and not black would look great. But I am gonna paint a few and take some pics for you all tonight and figure it out.

I'd paint the black part MG if anything. All chrome looks odd when I've seen pics, and if you painted the GT the MG, the black would stick out more than the GT.

I am currently in the process of saving up for new rims for my car. I plan on getting black chrome FR5s. After I get them in, I plan on getting all my badges painted to match the rim color. Thats just what I have in mind anyway. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Im going with the '05 and up GT badges too. I think it would look bad *** with them things painted to match the rims. Just my opinion though. . . .

Dunno if you decided yet, but id just paint the black part MG and leave the chrome. Others look like **** imo.

I made them all stain black for right now. I kinda like the look for now. Though I think I will take them off soon and do just a MG background.

Personally, the chrome/black stock badge looks heads and shoulders better than the ideas you tossed around. But that's just me. If anything, I'd say paint the chrome part MG and leave the black background. The only thing I don't like about that is it blends in too much, hence why I vote leave it stock.

I think the Idea of doing the GT in MG and the background satin black could be pretty cool. I may try that on mine. That could look pretty sweet. hmmm

Hell yeah. If you did the white on the black, it would look pretty awesome, I think.

I think the mineral gray on the black looks the best, Dustin. The black looks too washed out and I'm just not a fan of chrome.

I am liking them more and more being satin black. I for sure won't make them stock looking.
