Default Sub Question

I had nicer bigger ones with an amp, but they wouldn't fit in my trunk by 1 inch or so. Then the part where the stock two amps sit, well in the middle there is a black case that makes the trunk smaller in the back. So I gave them back and I got smaller ones with no amp. My brother I think said he's going to put a 500 walk amp with it or something. I have no clue, but he's doing it all.
My question: Are these good speakers or anything? I don't like how there is holes in it though. I also wish it was sized differently so it will slide along the black case or whatever that thing is. Because I have my skateboards that sit in my trunk and you can see it looks smaller.

Thanks, that's all I really wanted to know since it was free. All I know is it's 10's and 1200 walts or something like that. The other ones I think were JBL's, but they wont fit.

I think the JBL's are 12's and well they're maybe, well they're pretty much the box. Like the box I have now has like what two or so inches of room for height. Well the JBL's box is pretty much maxed out, they're like on the edge. If that makes sense.

Edit: The ones I have now I hate how they have holes in it, but that's how my brother built it or that's how the wood came. We does construction, so he could have just used the scrap. But the other box is hella nice and has the amp on the back.

yeah, if those holes are supposed to be ports then they were not made right at all, its not going to sound very good at all you would be better off just using one of your JBL subs with a single small box that should fit into ur trunk no problem if not then sell everything you have and get a good single 10 inch sub thats what i have in mine and it sounds great its an infinity kappa perfect 10 with a sealed box and 500 watt alpine amp

The JBL's are to big and they're pretty much just as big as the box they're in. I would sell it, but my brother is just giving them to me so I can hook them up. I would feel like an ******* for taking his stuff and seling it. :/ I'm not really into that stuff, so I just said screw it, becuase he's been begging me. But he didn't know his nice ones wouldn't fit.

I was thinking the same thing, I thought about asking him to make a better box for it, smaller so it would fit and have more room for my stuff/skateboards. His box on the nice ones don't even have holes in it. :/

If the subs are too tall then build a box with the subs firing down and then your all set height wise
