Default removing tint

is there a proper procedure to do this or should I just go at it with a razor and some windex. What about the area on the back windshield with the dot matrix, is there a right way to do that part?

Use ammonia, not windex.

What he said. But I'd dilute the ammonia with water because if you don't, that **** will knock you the hell out!

You can also use simple green. Spray it on the inside of the windows, then put a black trash bag on over, cut it to size and leave it on for an hour in the sun. Then after that, just use the razor blade to pry up a piece big enough to grab. Then just pull it off. Make sure it both pieces come off at the same time. I used this as a reference and did this a few days ago. http://www.tintdude.com/remove.html
