Default How do i get this crap out?

Yea so i took my spoiler off to clean all the crap that built up in the creases. I am thinking about either leaving it off or moving the spoiler back a little bit. in either case there is some nasty looking stains on my trunk now. Pics are after wash and TW liquid claybar. Is a buffer the only way or can i get this out by hand. Oh and some pics of my 71 challenger in progress.

A liquid clay bar doesn't do ****. Go over it with a real one and that or a paint cleaner or polish should take care of it no problem. You can throw the TW **** in the garbage where it should of gone.

use some polish or a mild scratch remover, should do the trick.

I have some meguires cleaner wax, maybe i'll give that a shot when i get home from work tomorrow. Yea the liquid claybar is really only good for light stuff. On a side note anybody near LI wanna come detail my car? It needs it bad.

i had the same stuff when i took my wing off, it takes a while to get it all off. if i recall correctly, i think i used goo gone to get it off but im guessing some polish/scratch remover will do a better job at it.

When I tried to go wingless (looked bad with dumps) I just used a clay bar and then re waxed the area.

on mine the wing scuffed the paint pretty good around the edges of the legs. I figured out that I was going to have to 3-stage polish the scratches out and kinda said fugg it and never did. Good luck with that.
