I pretty much agree... I mean it's really only gonna save you, what 15-25 lbs max?... Unless you're just thinkin' about doin it for looks.. Personally I take functionality over looks, but that's just me!

I got mine from www.stangmods.com
I have transported people before....but I hated doing it so I ripped out the rear seat and put my audio stuff there

it's really easy to emboss anything you want into automotive interiors. I'm doing a headliner right now with flames embossed into it.
Here's how it works (thanks go to Stacey David of Trucks! on SpikeTV):
peel back the carpet covering that comes on your RSD, cut the pattern you want into some 1/8" or 1/4" thick foam padding (depends on how much you want it to stand out) and use come spray-on carpet adhesive to fix it to the back board. Spray the adhesive fairly heavily on the front of the now placed foam image and from the bottom to the top slowly work, snug and press the cover carpet back into place. The letters, picture or whatever will now be a positive image showing as embossed where you wanted it to be. If you'd like "BULLIT" in a different color then you'll need a sheet of fabric in the color you want the letters to be, glue that over the foam, then use the remnants of the foam as a template to cut out the top cover carpet to match the letters underneath. Now you'll have your "BULLIT" logo coming out of the carpet in a positive image and a different color. Make sure you have at least a couple cans of the spray glue on hand. It goes faster than you'd think.

Chris,
Who cut the BMC logo out and how is the speaker box attached to the RSD?
Did you notice a difference in the sound quality as opposed to the speaker being in the trunk, better, less rattling, etc.? Your setup is sick!!!!!!!!
