So, it all works, and I am not the only one who thinks having and eject button on your coupe would be hilariously painful.

The coolest part is they'll custom make it for you. You pick silver or black, how many switches and where (up to 6), what it says under the switches and even logos. All for less than $100. Pretty bad to the bone if you ask me.

Thanks for the post about our 01-04 radio/gauge panels. We made a limited run of parts, but demand will likely drive us to make more.

I worked in car audio for a lot of years, and was always disappointed by the quality of dash kits. They either fit poorly, looked cheap, or often both. With many people looking for a good spot for switches, we decided to design and market this part.

And about the Eject button:

It was chosen by the owner of that car for a "hidden" function he didn't want to share. My guess is that it is a security related button.

Here's a better pic of that same panel installed:

Anyway, I found this thread in my site traffic report, and thought I'd drop in and say hello!

I'm sorry, what question was that? If it was the question about the Mustang script from the dash, I haven't found it anywhere.

Good thing I didn't make the radio then. Thanks for such an insightful post.

And, for the record, our radio panel is made to accept a DIN radio - Sony or otherwise.

Haha, greg = owned....

BTW, do you make one for the 99-00 bezel? The seperate compartment type? I have the pocket replacment, but a panel to put there would be a lot nicer to me!

I was not my intent to advertise my product here, just replying to a post I found in my website stats. Delete my posts if I'm in conflict with any rules of this site, please.

Not at present, but we did make one for a local guy and it came out nicely. No plans to market one in the immediate future, but it is likely to come out eventually.

It's actually an entire dash kit, and the surface is plastic that looks like brushed aluminum. That's how we get the black text. If you followed the link, then you've already discovered this anyway.

And for the record, I'm an Eclipse man myself (the older stuff).

MattJ, thanks. I make it a point not to spam boards, preferring that our work sparks discussions like this one. When my site is linked, it is easy to track it back to the source.

zigzagg, I've used Eclipse products for years. When I worked in the car audio business, I was a dealer for them. In my 1992 LX, I have a mint 5302 in the dash. I also have a 7002 monitor, a 5341R, 5332, a 12 disc changer and a 3 disc minidisc (!?!) changer in the garage.
